Participants must observe public morals, respect the cultural and heritage
character of the event, and maintain proper conduct with visitors in a manner that
reflects the cultural values of the Emirate of Sharjah and the mission of the
Sharjah Institute for Heritage.
A valid commercial trade license must be submitted prior to commencing any
activity at the event site. The participant must strictly adhere to the licensed
activity stated in the license.
Participants must be present and actively operate throughout the entire duration of
Sharjah Heritage Days, from the official opening until the final day.
Participants must comply with the approved permit duration and vacate the site
within a maximum of two (2) days following the conclusion of the event, handing
over the site in the same condition in which it was received.
The license holder must personally conduct the permitted activity on-site. No
delegation or operation by another person is allowed in the license holder’s
absence unless permitted under applicable laws and upon obtaining written
approval from the competent authority.
Participants must maintain daily cleanliness of the site and all equipment used,
and ensure full cleaning of the location before leaving at the end of each day.
Full compliance with all applicable public health regulations and food safety
requirements (where applicable) is mandatory, including the possession of valid
health cards for workers.
Participants must fully comply with all safety and security requirements,
including instructions issued by Civil Defense and other competent regulatory
authorities, as attached to this form.
Firefighting equipment and a first aid kit must be provided on-site and maintained
in a ready-to-use condition at all times.
Random or unsafe electrical connections are strictly prohibited. Only approved
electrical connections may be used in accordance with safety regulations.
Unapproved generators are not permitted.
The permit holder bears full legal responsibility for any damages, injuries,
violations, or incidents arising from their activity, staff, or equipment, and shall
indemnify the Sharjah Institute for Heritage against any claims, fines, or legal
actions resulting therefrom.
The permit holder is fully responsible for all personal equipment, tools, and
materials within the kiosk or mobile unit. The Sharjah Institute for Heritage and
the organizing committee bear no liability for loss or damage.
Loading and unloading of goods must be carried out only at locations designated
by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. The Institute does not provide labor for such
services.
Any actions that may cause damage to the event site are strictly prohibited,
including drilling, nailing, breaking, or altering floors, structures, or existing
buildings. In the event of damage, penalties shall be applied in accordance with
the approved violations list.
Owners of mobile units must securely cover their units with plastic covers at the
end of each operating day.
Mobile unit operators must take all necessary precautions during placement or
removal of the unit to prevent oil leaks or spills.
Disposal of cooking oils or liquid waste outside designated oil recycling
containers is strictly prohibited.
The use of loudspeakers, music, sound effects, or the emission of disturbing odors
or excessive smoke that may inconvenience visitors or neighboring participants is
prohibited unless prior written approval is obtained from the Sharjah Institute for
Heritage.
Installing banners, advertisements, signage, or making any modifications to the
kiosk, mobile unit, or displayed content is prohibited without prior written
approval from the Sharjah Institute for Heritage.
Storage of flammable materials or uncovered food items within the event site after
operating hours is strictly prohibited.
Participants must comply with all instructions issued by regulatory authorities
(municipality, civil defense, health and security authorities) as well as directives
issued by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage during the event, without prior notice.
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage reserves the right to suspend the activity or
revoke the permit immediately and without compensation in the event of any
violation of the licensed activity, these terms and conditions, or if any risk to
public safety or health is identified.
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage shall not be held liable for the cancellation,
reduction, or modification of the event due to force majeure circumstances or
official directives beyond its control.
Any violation of the licensed activity or any of the above terms and conditions
shall result in the application of the approved penalties and violations list attached
to this form, without exception.
